Sussex Defeats Bergen for 9th Win of Season

The Sussex County Community College Men's Basketball team defeated Bergen Community College 112-73 on Thursday evening.  The Skylanders jumped out to a 57-38 lead at halftime.  The Skylanders played very well together throughout the evening on both offense and defense.  PJ Ross led Sussex with a career high 34 points, including 6 three pointers.  Nate Aklilu also had a career high with 27 points along with 10 rebounds.  Jesus Romero had a very strong evening with 15 points, 17 rebounds, and 9 assists.  Keenan Iseli added 12 points and Jalil Golden added 9 points for the winning effort.  Christian Archer chipped in with 8 points and 10 rebounds.  Hamadi Martin contributed with 3 points and Justin Blackwell added 2 points.  Point guard, David Forzani, added 2 points and helped to keep the offense flowing throughout the night dishing out 8 assists.   

Sussex will host Northampton Community College on Saturday afternoon (1/13/24) at 2:00 p.m.
