The Sussex County Community College Men's Basketball team defeated Delaware County Community College on Saturday afternoon by a score of 101-48. Sussex finished the first half with a 15-2 run in the last 4 minutes to take a 48-33 halftime lead. Sussex shot 60% overall and 50% from behind the 3 point line as they extended their win streak to 4 games. PJ Ross led the Skylanders with a career high 40 points. Ross was 7-11 on his 3 point shots. Nate Aklilu added 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jesus Romero added 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winning effort. Christian Archer chipped in with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists. Point Guard, David Forzani, scored 9 points and had 7 assists. Jalil Golden, Justin Blackman, Hamadi Martin, and Keenan Iseli came off the bench to help Sussex with the victory. Sussex improves to 17-8 on the year. Sussex hosts Union on Tuesday night (February 13) at 6:00 p.m.
