The Sussex County Community College Men's Basketball team defeated Lehigh Carbon on Tuesday evening (1-14-2025) by a score of 82-78. The Skylanders took an early lead and went into halftime up 44-35. Lehigh Carbon came back early in the second half going on a 15-0 run. Sussex then battled back with the game being decided in the final minute. Sussex had 4 players finish in double figures. Kendrick Davis led all scorers with 26 points. Jayshon Williams helped Sussex secure the victory with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Marlon Torres tossed in 13 points and Ed Dorbor finished the night with 11 points. Michael Mounsif chipped in 8 points for Sussex. Ty Shelton and Ezana Negusse came off the bench to help the Skylanders defeat Lehigh Carbon.
The Sussex Skylanders will host Bergen Community College on Thursday evening (1/16/2025). The game will begin at 7:00 p.m.
